Radio Show...
This program continues on various series of different topics on theology such as end times, prophecies, daily living, etc. as the subject matter comes up.
The e-book on end times and Revelation, answering the questions “where are we in the events of the end times?” and “Are we now in the tribulation?” is available on this web site, which you can find throughout the pages.
Opening Narrative
So we continue from the last program on the current series of the Book of Revelation, based on the e-book Timing Revelation available on my web site.
So far we covered up to chapter 13 and we will get into chapter 14 today.
I did mention in the previous programs and I want to reiterate again about the numbers 7 & 8 which are significant in the divisions of divine historical things and events throughout the Word of God...
and that is about the panoramic chart that the Lord gave me in the vision which comes with the eBook, which shows the book of Revelation divided into 7 parts from chapter 1 to chapter 20, which includes the millennium.
After that, the 8th part is about the brand new universe that creation is eagerly waiting for. The number 8 in the Bible speaks of New Beginning.
And the reason I repeat this often in the programs is so that we don't forget such an amazing and fascinating branding elements of the Word of God given throughout history – His Story.
This is so critical in the understanding prophetic meaning of biblical numbers which along with prophecies themselves prove the awesome accuracy of The Holy Book.
So today, I will pick up from where we left off to continue on this journey through the book of revelation right after this opening music, prayer and worship time.

Narrative #1
So, just before we get into our message this morning from the book of revelation, look again at the scriptures quoted previously on the the whole renewal of the universe as we know it, which will take place in the very end, for which the whole creation groans and awaits, according to the Word of God:
(Romans 8:22)
“For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”
(Romans 8:23)
”And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even (or that is) we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”
And Isaiah 34:4, “And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.”
And Revelation 6:14, “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.”
Alright, so last week we finished our review of the book of revelation with chapter 13 about the first beast and the second... and again, you can hear that program on the replays page at the web site TimingRevelation.com if you missed that episode, or the transcript of it beyond the 5 weeks timeline.
So today we continue from chapter 14 where it speaks of The Lamb -- capital T and capital L – The Lamb... and the messages of the angels who fly throughout the heaven...
Let's read verses 1 to 5 of chapter 14
The Lamb
1.And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him a hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
2.And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3.And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
4.These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5.And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
So, here John is shown a view of the Lamb, i.e. Jesus Christ on the mount Sion (Zion) on which He will return. He is accompanied by the 144,000 we read about in chapter 7.
John's attention is then turned to heaven from where he hears a thunderous voice and other voices and music from the throne.
v.3. indicates that the 144,000 are now seen in heaven since they sing a song
“before the throne”, and are now redeemed “from the earth”.
4.& 5.This seems to be speaking of a 2nd rapture that is specific to these 144,000
Jewish preachers who had been marked on their foreheads for the work of evangelizing the Jewish people and the nations at large then.
They foreshadow the redemption of a larger group of Jews, who will turn to Christ at the end of the tribulation period (Isaiah 2:3; Romans 11:15).
Verses 6 to 13
The acceleration of events taking place
6.And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.
7.Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
So, Here we see angels picking up the task of the 144,000 to preach the Gospel to the Jews and the world from the heavens, announcing the everlasting gospel to those still on the earth. In spite of its lateness more time is still granted to turn to God.
8.And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
9.And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10.The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without
mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11.And the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name.
12.Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
13.And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
So here in v.8.John is given a preview of the fall of Babylon which religious/economic system's doom will be detailed in chapters 17 and 18.
There is an urgent appeal to worship God and a warning of more judgments about
taking the mark of the beast.
Things seem to be happening in quick successions and through it all, angels are sent
to repeat the pleas and the warnings as the earth swirls with accelerated end time events.
In verses 9-11 we read about those who took the mark, knowingly or unknowingly, and the willing wicked followers of the beast who will experience the final series of judgments that are about to be poured out of the bowls.
12-13.It seems that John, through all this dark timeline, remembers the saints who yet have to endure the suffering. And a voice from heaven reminds him of the future blessings of those who endure.

Narrative 2
Verses 14 to 20 of chapter 14
The great harvest
14.And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15.And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in your sickle, and reap: for the time is come for you to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16.And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
17.And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18.And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried
with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19.And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20.And the winepress was trodden without (outside) the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
The view between the last judgment and the coming final vials continues as we see
preliminaries of those things yet to come.
Again we see the Son of man (Jesus with a “diadem” -- the king's crown. He is in the midst of the angels prepared for the great winepress of the wrath of God to come upon the last of the ones who refuse the attempts of the Christ to turn to God.
Some say that this is the preview of the battle of Armageddon which is yet to come, where the nations will gather in the valley and march up to Jerusalem for the final battle of the great tribulation.
This battle will be so horrendous that the blood will be splashed up to the bridles of the horses -- or the sides of the tanks and war equipment -- for 200 miles.

Narrative 3
chapter 15, Verses 1 to 8
Preparation for the seven vials
1.And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
2.And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
3.And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb,
saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
4.Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
5.And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:
6.And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in
pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.
7.And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever.
8. And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
We now go back to the judgments, after the victory over the beast, and when the final actions are about to resume.
We are taken to the Throne of God's room where the sea of glass and those victorious over the beast stand. The vision John sees is nothing less than awesome and overwhelming.
Yet, John sees the justice of all that is taking place concerning the necessity of the wrath of God. He also sees that when the bowls that hold the most horrific of all the judgments, the wrath of God, are poured, it will finally be complete.
Later on when the last of the faithful martyrs have arrived at the throne of God, now free from suffering, all heaven again breaks out in praise and worship.
And we then see the sombre ritual of the seven angels receiving the seven vials full of the wrath of God that are about to be poured upon the earth as the final judgment of God.
What is about to take place in the following chapters is terrible but we are reminded that God was faithful in His patience and warnings all the way through.
We are also reminded that those who did receive the grace and mercy of God through the Saviour's sacrificial death and resurrection are not going to experience those last and final tragic endings.
It is also a reminder that we who are saved, born-again, must be faithful in telling of the wonderful Gospel of Jesus Christ to our loved ones before it is too late – that is before the Rapture, also known as “the blessed hope” .
“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Chris”; (Titus 2:13).

Narrative #4
Chapter 16
Verses 1 to 11
The seven vials of wrath
1.And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
2.And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
3.And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
4.And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
5.And I heard the angel of the waters say, You are righteous, O Lord, which are, and
was, and shalt be, because you have judged thus.
6.For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
7.And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and
righteous are you judgments.
8.And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9.And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which has power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
10.And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11.And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and
repented not of their deeds.
So, in verse 1 we read about the command to pour out the vials on the earth.
(Vials in the Greek mean a broad shallow bowl or deep saucer).
2.The first vial (also known as bowl) judgment. Here we see the plague on the earth and those who have the mark of the beast.
3.Plague of the sea.
4-5.Plague on the rivers and the waters.
In spite of all these destructive plagues, the angel of the waters could not help but admit that God is righteous in his judgments.
Sin has great built-in consequences. And unless man receives the grace of Salvation,
sin will be judged. God's forgiveness came at a great price – death of His only begotten Son, and it must be taken seriously. Eternity is at stake.
6-7.Plague upon those who shed the blood of God's people. Again an angel comes forth to support the righteous judgments of God Almighty.
8.Plague poured upon the sun to scorch men.
I realize that the word blood is talked about quite a bit in this verses, but that is because blood speaks of that which when shed causes death... it refers to the seat of life... remember “the life of the flesh is in the blood” (Leviticus 17:11)
