Radio Show...
This program continues on various series of different topics on theology such as end times, prophecies, daily living, etc. as the subject matter comes up.
The e-book on end times and Revelation, answering the questions “where are we in the events of the end times?” and “Are we now in the tribulation?” is available on this web site, which you can find throughout the pages.
Opening Narrative
We continue from the last program on the current series of the level one study of the Book of Revelation, based on the e-book Timing Revelation available on my web site. We are now in the last chapter of the final book of the Bible.
And again just a friendly reminder on the book of Revelation that no one can read, understand and interpret this book completely from beginning to the end at this time. We learn more and more about the details of it and how every verse and chapter fit together as we move year by year toward the very end. We can only try and do our best, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to put the work together.
God knew this all along... but, in spite of our limits and short comings, we are directed by the Word of God to read this book. It is so important, we are told that we will get a blessing for our obedience to that.
"Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."
So let's remember to always read this book with an open mind and patience.

Narrative #1
So last week we ended with chapter 22 verses 1 to 5 covering “John's vision of the new Jerusalem”.
Let's review that:
1.And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the
throne of God and of the Lamb.
2. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4. And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light:
If you missed that one, you can still hear the replay on my web site TimingRevelation.com and go to Radio Shows... they are up there for 5 weeks and then each show is turned into a transcript format that can be read as new shows are put up...
So let us now pick up from here with,
verses 6 to 21 of chapter 22
Christ to come quickly
6. And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be
done.
7. Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
Evidently this voice breaks through from the angel -- verses 7, 12, 13, 16, 20. These are in red ink in my King James bible, indicating the Lord spoke them.
8.And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
9.Then said he unto me, See that you do it not: for I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
10.And he said unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
Now it seems that this was even confusing for John because he fell down to worship the angel. Evidently the scene was so awesome that he thought it was actually the Lord Himself.
However as for other verses from here on to the end, there are more that seem to be just as confusing in that they may also be the voice from the Throne breaking in, i.e.: verses 14, 15, 17-20 which are in black ink in my King James bible, but which could be interpreted as being the Lord's words – in which case it would be in red letters here, but it is not.
I have checked several sources but have not yet come across any that specifically addresses this question.
For the time being we will have to accept this as another of the many parts in this deep and profound book of divine revelation that are not quite clear at this time.
So this is an example of how some passages in this book of the end times are difficult to interpret precisely.... but thank God, we will get all that clarified very soon when the Lord returns to this earth, this time to rule and reign... in the meantime, what we need now is to make sure we are ready no matter what goes on or no matter what takes place... keep our eyes on Jesus.
Now on v.10, it is interesting that in the book of Daniel, chapter 12, verse 4, Daniel was told to seal the book until the time of the end when many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
And here in this verse John is told to not seal the book because the time is at hand. So we can tell these two scriptures relate to one another. And here John is told do not seal the book because the time is at hand. Both these books are about the revelation of the end times. And NOW is the end.

Narrative 2
Lets continue with chapter 22
verses 11 to 21:
verse 11, “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
This is not an invitation to continue to be ungodly... on the contrary, this passage refers to how the character of man tends to stay fixed... but, and I read from the Liberty Bible Commentary, “As one is found in that day, so will he be eternally. Death or the coming of the Lord fixes one's character and eternal destiny.” Wow... let him hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying.
12.And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13.I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14.Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie.
So, verse 11 are the warning of the irreversible state of the ungodly and the godly. In other words all will stay as they are when they leave this earth.
16.I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
17.And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
18.For I testify unto every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19.And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
And of course whenever it says man it also means woman – it's mankind, both.
20.He which testifies these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21.The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
So verse 16 reminds the church that the root of Jesus is connected to Israel and David. The Old Testament ends with Christ as the “Sun of righteousness arising with healing in His wings” (Malachi 4:2). ....
The New Testament closes with Him as “the bright and morning star”... He will come for His saints before He comes with them to reign, “just as the morning star appears before
the sun.” (Liberty Bible Commentary).
Verse 17 is a passionate invitation to the sinner “whosoever will” to respond to the message of the Gospel of Salvation and come and partake of the eternal life with Christ who is the God of Creation – that's for “whosoever will”.
Verses 18-19, is a solemn warning on the whole of the Word of God, but especially this book, and a rebuke to those who would take this message carelessly.
Verse 20, here is a reiteration of the fact that Christ is coming quickly. On God's clock, only two days have now passed since the Lamb of God was sacrificed in this physical earth on the altar for all mankind...
And again the last verse of the book of Revelation, v. 21 says:
“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”
Thus ends the great book of Revelation.
“For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son
that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish
but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

Narrative 3
In Conclusion
So again I repeat what I shared at the beginning of this book about the answers to the questions:
“Where are we in the events of the end times?” and/or “Are we now in the Tribulation?” We do know where we are in the timing of the end times, and of the 7-years Tribulation.
The TIMING Revelation Chart © on page 9 of the e-book outlines this in a way that we can clearly see and understand: all of these things that we hear about, that will come upon us in the Tribulation, will take place after the Rapture of the believers.
“For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18)
But also mentioned earlier, this does not mean that we will not experience some very difficult times before we are taken away to be with the Lord in the clouds at the Rapture. What we do not know is the time the Rapture will take place. Everything else is dependent on this event.
So the answer to the two questions above:
Question #1, “Where are we in the events of the end times?
-- Before the Rapture.
Question #2, “Are we now in the Tribulation?
-- No, because the Rapture has not yet happened.
However, according to all that is taking place right now, and what Jesus told us, we are very close to the Rapture event taking place. We saw earlier that based on the generation that will see Israel become a nation again, which took place in 1948, that puts us at 74 years (at time of this writing), and a generation is between 70-80 years according to the Bible. That means it could happen any day, any time... we must be ready.
Where we are right now is what the Lord called “as in the days of Noah”, “the beginning of sorrows”, and “the birth pangs” (Matthew 24:8; Mark 13:8). (The word for “sorrows” in the Greek here refers to the pains of childbirth.)
It is my sincere hope that this work will help you and many others to clarify and understand further the book of the Revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, as prophesied to John for us then and today...
“Study to show thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.”
(2 Timothy 2:15)
So there we have it... we've come to the end of a journey of the book of Revelation as it is outlined in my e-book “Timing Revelation” that you can of course obtain from my web site, TimingRevelation.com if you want to go over this again on your own and have it with you when you read your Bible..
Now I did say at the beginning of this radio show series that the chapters on the message by Jesus Christ to the churches would be left for after this study. So in the next radio shows I will get back to chapters 2 and 3 to cover that, because it really is a whole study of its own...
